Fishing and being fished is an everyday affair, such that we are seldomnly aware of the webs we weave and are weaved into. Making sense of the universe and the questions pertaining to infinity can only be fairly undertaken with the acknowledgement of the finitude of our comprehension. These collections of poem find inspiration from nature and geometry to understand the logos (logic and language), as well as, the pathos (feelings and emotions) that shape our reality and wonders how and when are we shaped into it. This anthology comprises of poems that are composed to reflect upon the contemplations on the seven hermeneutic principles, concerning (i) mentalism, (ii) correspondence, (iii) vibration, (iv) polarity, (v) rhythm, (vi) cause and effect, as well as (vii) gender. These poetic compositions attempt to document and archive the poet's internal musings upon the asynchronous synchronosity of the latent geometry that the self experiences through its movement across time and space.
Cycle
Of life
Splits into two
Emanating the light
That befalls on you
The source of your might
The destiny of your plight
Which seems so impromptu
Gives divine reasons for your perspicacity
As the vesica of piscis unite
And shines bright on all that's true
Though unseen with naked eyes
It penetrates through all our guise
To embrace the me in you
In the ocean of time and space, we float
Isn't it serendipitous to note
That an invisible hand of past
Pushes our holy boat
while the anticipation of tomorrow
Pulls us as we float.
Exhale and feel your senses elope
For now we cling to a compassionate rope
The clichéd dope of all pervading hope.
Not just the interconnections of our aura
But as well as the spring of ultimate's flora
It prevails in womb of the universe,
The organ of our perception
and the voicer of our opinions.
Exemplifies the correspondence of oneness and duality
It's the Brahman's way of celebrating plurality.
-Ashraya Kant
We speak with calm eyes,
all our fears of demise.
Not of this life
but of those we tend
to love more than it.
With a straight long face,
disguising the peculiarity of our case
holding doubts of participating in
the life-long cliched race.
Finding our place within
this honey-comb maze
adjoining at apt angles
to become a star,
Never can we see
that we've sailed afar
but don't let your yesterday's sorrows
or tomorrow's arrows
seep into the sacred
silence of the moment.
Hence, we shall align
with our pharaoh
and witness the majesty
beneath our veins and marrow
-Ashraya Kant
There's a nail on the table,
Half stuck, half stable
Doubting itself
in the process of being able,
while finding it's place
within the cosmic fable.
Ironically,
it resides at the top of the table,
covers itself for the fear of labels,
making sense of the synaptic impulses
prevailing in the veils of its spiral cables.
Hysterically,
it still stays put at the top of the table.
The top it sees is not as it please, yet
quietly, it sits there in ease
'Why am I here?' it tries to address
counters self-pity, which it tries to supress,
finger picking those whom it seems would opress,
dreaming of all it aims to possess,
longing for the ones it wishes to caress.
Surrounded,
by piles of wood
and enduring atmospheric pressure.
Just like those, bound by the ties of good(s)
and the price of their leisure.
-Ashraya Kant
